Wild at Heart Farm is located in the historic little townsite of Sinclair Mills BC in Northern Canada.

This 5 acre parcel is set on the between the majestic Fraser River to the South and the mighty McGregor Mountain Range to the North. The fertile soil is the perfect landscape for growing fresh vegetables both inside our 2000 sf greenhouse and outside during our short growing season.

Temperatures can reach between lows of -40C in the winter months up to the mid 30sC in the summer months.

Although the winters can get brutally cold we have the luxury of a well insulated farmhouse with plenty of heat from the wood burning stove and lots of dry firewood.

Dan and I had a dream of providing good quality locally sourced and produced food to the community of Prince George BC so jumped on the property the same day we looked at it with no real plan in mind except the exciting prospects of a new and exciting adventure!

And what an adventure it has been for the past few years now.

Our son Zak joined us early in 2023 and together we have grown a strong presence at The PG Farmers Market in downtown Prince George.

Along the way we have managed to accumulate 5 cats (2 feral rescues, Chester and Gary that quickly adapted to spoiled house cats, our brat Harvey that never ceases to find ways to get into trouble and just about die from it and our newest girls Maude and Lucy), 4 dogs (okay we did land here with our 2 rescues Gus and Maggie but quickly realized we should have a guardian dog to look after the property) Sam our gentle Giant that does an amazing job keeping everyone safe and our newest girl Molly to join Sam in the outside duties and a plethora of chickens for egg laying and meat, ducks for egg production (coming early 2025 to the market) and a trio of silly turkeys just for entertainment value.

You can find us at The PG Farmers Market on the corner of 3rd and Quebec every Saturday from 8:30-2 in the all year round with a variety of fresh baked sourdough bread, pastries, cookies, free range eggs, savory spices and so much more!
